Ariel Belgrave is helping redefine what it means to build, lead, and own in the fitness and wellness industry.
As the founder and host of The Sweat & Equity Show, Ariel is creating a platform for the builders, operators, founders, creators, and leaders shaping the future of fitness and wellness. These are the people behind the studios, communities, formats, products, experiences, and brands moving the industry forward.
Ariel's path into this work has never been one-dimensional.
She is the founder of Gym Hooky Media, a fitness and wellness company rooted in movement, media, community, and sustainable well-being. She is also an Under Armour athlete, speaker, retreat host, and former global HR leader with experience at JPMorgan and Meta. Her career has placed her at the intersection of people, culture, leadership, partnerships, and the business of wellness, giving her a unique lens on what it actually takes to build something that lasts.
That perspective is what led her to create Sweat & Equity.
Through honest conversations and behind-the-scenes storytelling, The Sweat & Equity Show unpacks the strategy, pivots, hard lessons, risks, and defining decisions behind building in fitness and wellness. From launching studios and scaling communities to protecting intellectual property, navigating partnerships, building teams, and growing beyond the hustle, Ariel brings visibility to the business realities that are often left out of the highlight reel.
But Sweat & Equity is not just a show.
It is becoming a movement and curated community for fitness and wellness builders who want access to more intentional rooms. Through intimate gatherings, dinners, and future convenings, Ariel is creating spaces where operators, founders, creators, investors, partners, and industry leaders can connect in ways that are thoughtful, useful, and real.
At its core, Sweat & Equity is about ownership — of ideas, value, community, and opportunity.
Ariel is building a platform for the people shaping what comes next in fitness and wellness, and her mission is clear: to help more builders own the value they create and build businesses, brands, and communities that last.
As Sweat & Equity grows, we are inviting aligned partners to help shape what comes next. Together, we can create more intentional rooms, expand access to industry-building conversations, and support the future of fitness and wellness ownership.
